After announcing plans to relocate their Toronto office, Aimia Canada was in need of an experienced AV firm to provide design consultation and project management services for a high-performance AV/communications system. As a global leader in client loyalty, it was crucial that Aimia have all systems function effortlessly with minimal downtime. The design was to be fully coordinated with interior design plans to deliver a fully-integrated, seamless technology system that reinforces the company’s brand and work culture.
After extensive planning sessions with Aimia’s Project Manager, IT Department, and key stakeholders, DTS developed a complete design plan, tender documentation, and project management services for the AV communications system. System designs included digital signage, meeting spaces with complete digital presentation systems, high-performance audio systems, dedicated video conferencing rooms, fully-equipped executive boardrooms, cable management, and integrated control systems.
Over 200,000 sq. ft. of commercial office space were transformed into a network of sophisticated open and closed collaboration zones, delivering high-performance workspace to serve the needs of all Aimia personnel. Effective collaboration with AV vendors, designers and key stakeholders resulted in the successful completion of the Aimia Toronto project, on-time and on-budget. DTS is now working with Aimia to achieve the same winning results for their new Tour Aimia headquarters in Montreal.
